It is so common to see such statements that one feels nothing wrong in saying them or hearing them. However, if we do see the type of sports accepted in olympics and the no. of countries that play cricket we find that cricket playing countries are in great minority.
It is time India realises this point and actively promotes sports that are played globally like football, tennis etc.
